Title: 'Audio Deepfake Detection Employing Multiple Parametric Exponential Linear Units'

This paper presents a novel approach to audio deepfake detection by enhancing deep learning models with advanced activation functions. It introduces Multiple Parametric Exponential Linear Unit (MPELU) and Attention ReLU (AReLU) within a ResNet architecture to better distinguish between genuine and spoofed speech. These activation functions aim to improve the network’s ability to detect subtle artifacts from speech synthesis or voice conversion. Experiments conducted on the ASVSpoof2019 dataset demonstrate improved performance over traditional methods.

Title: 'On the Influence of CNN-Based Feature Learning Modules in Neural Speaker Verification Framework'

This paper investigates how different CNN-based feature extraction modules impact neural speaker verification (ASV) systems. The proposed framework combines CNNs with hybrid TDNN-LSTM and TDNN architectures, using Multi-Level Attentive Statistics Pooling for effective speaker embedding. Among the tested modules - 1D-CNN, 2D-CNN, and SKA - integrated 2D-CNN - the Selective Kernel Attention (SKA) module showed superior performance on the VoxCeleb dataset, enhancing robustness and accuracy in ASV tasks.
